We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Creative Arts Resource Technician – Floristry and Event Styling Specialist to support our Creative Arts department, with a particular focus on floristry and event styling across our curriculum.
This is a specialist role requiring strong floristry knowledge and an understanding of industry purchasing, including stem counts, seasonality, and material selection. You will work closely with tutors to plan, develop, and coordinate resources for lessons, workshops, and commercial activities, helping to ensure a high-quality and industry-relevant student experience.
Working collaboratively with the Head of Curriculum and the Creative Arts Resource Technician – Procurement & Logistics, you will play a key role in supporting effective resource planning, purchasing, and budget awareness across the department.
The postholder will lead on specialist resourcing for floristry and event styling, working closely with tutors to create and finalise detailed resource lists for teaching, workshops, and commercial activities. This includes applying expert knowledge of floristry materials, quantities, and stem counts to ensure accuracy, quality, and value for money.
They will support the planning and delivery of workshops by preparing and coordinating materials, as well as maintaining communication with workshop applicants to ensure they remain informed and engaged ahead of delivery.
The role also involves working collaboratively with the Head of Curriculum and the procurement-focused resource technician to monitor and track spending, helping to ensure resources are planned effectively and budgets are adhered to.
In addition, they will contribute to the smooth running of the department by maintaining organised resource systems, ensuring materials are prepared and available in line with delivery schedules, and supporting the wider creative arts team where required.
We are looking for someone with strong practical floristry experience and a clear understanding of how floristry and event styling materials are sourced, costed, and prepared. You will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident working collaboratively with teaching staff to plan resource requirements.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. You should be comfortable using basic systems or spreadsheets to support planning and budget tracking.

The actual salary for this role is £5,645 - £5,776 inclusive of London Weighting
