Application and Selection Process

To apply for a position at the College, candidates must complete an application form, as CVs are not accepted. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted shortly after the closing date and invited to participate in the selection process. This typically includes a panel interview with the hiring managers and a member of Human Resources.

Depending on the role, the selection process may involve additional components. For example, candidates for lecturing positions may be asked to prepare and deliver a lesson on a specified topic, while those applying for support or managerial roles might need to complete a work-based assessment or deliver a presentation.

Selection processes are usually conducted on campus, and candidates must bring three forms of identification. This is necessary for the Enhanced Disclosure clearance (DBS) from the Disclosure and Barring Service, required for successful applicants.

What Happens After The Selection Process?

If you are successful in the selection process, the Human Resources Department will send you a formal job offer. This offer is generally contingent upon receiving two satisfactory references, medical clearance, confirmation of your right to work in the UK, an Enhanced Level DBS check, a Children’s Barred List check, and completion of a six-month probationary period.

We understand that applicants invest significant time in completing their application forms, so we make it a priority to notify unsuccessful candidates of their application status as promptly as possible.
