  • About The Role and Person

  • We are seeking an ambitious and organised Project Coordinator to lead the operational delivery of our newly funded London Talent Pathways Programme.

This exciting programme will create new routes into employment and skills development for Londoners, connecting employers, communities and training providers to address workforce shortages across priority sectors. Working with employers, local authorities, community organisations and internal college teams, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the programme delivers exceptional outcomes and creates meaningful opportunities for learners across London.

    The Role

As Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day delivery of the London Talent Pathways Programme, ensuring activities are delivered on time, within budget and in line with funding requirements.

You will work closely with employers, stakeholders, curriculum teams, MIS, marketing and senior leaders to coordinate learner recruitment, employer engagement, reporting, compliance and programme performance.

This is a varied role requiring excellent organisational skills, strong stakeholder management and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

This is a part-time role, working 18 hours per week on a fixed term contract for 2 years due to finish July 2028. The actual salary is £20,992.50 to £22,197, inclusive of London Weighting.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of the London Talent Pathways Programme.
    • Act as the central point of contact for programme partners, employers and internal teams.
    • Support learner recruitment, onboarding and progression activities.
    • Coordinate employer engagement activities, events and partnership meetings.
    • Monitor programme performance against contractual targets and KPIs.
    • Produce accurate reports, funding returns and management information.
    • Maintain programme documentation, evidence and compliance records.
    • Work with delivery teams to ensure learners receive high-quality support and progression opportunities.
    • Identify risks, issues and opportunities and support the implementation of solutions.
    • Coordinate communications and engagement activities with programme stakeholders.
    • Support continuous improvement and the development of new initiatives arising from the programme.

    About You

We are looking for someone who is:

    • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
    • Experienced in coordinating funded programmes, projects or contracts.
    • Confident managing relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
    • Comfortable working with performance data and producing reports.
    • Able to work independently whilst managing competing priorities.
    • Passionate about creating opportunities for learners and supporting workforce development.

    Essential Experience

    • Experience of coordinating projects, programmes or contracts within education, training, employability, skills or economic development.
    • Experience of working with multiple stakeholders and partners.
    • Experience of monitoring performance against targets and producing reports.
    • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Desirable Experience

    • Knowledge of GLA, ESFA or other publicly funded skills programmes.
    • Experience of employer engagement or workforce development programmes.
    • Experience of working within further education, training or employability provision.
    • Understanding of skills, employment and social mobility agendas within London.
