An exciting opportunity has arisen at Capel Manor College and we are now seeking to appoint a tutor in Floristry to provide high-quality teaching and learning on our Floristry courses.
Our floristry department offers a wide range of courses ranging from the Level 1 Foundation Diploma in Floristry through to the Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma in Floristry. It also runs a number of short workshops throughout the year including tablescape workshops, eco-floristry workshops, floral table decor workshops and a winter wreath workshops.
We are now looking for an experienced florist / tutor to join the team to teach on our Floristry courses. The ideal candidate will have a passion for floristry and for teaching and sharing their experience and knowledge. They will provide high quality teaching on the College’s Floristry courses and ensure the effective learning of students being taught. This will involve preparing and delivering stimulating lessons, setting goals that stretch and challenge all students, monitoring and assessing student progress, giving feedback and consistently demonstrating the positive attitudes, values and behaviours which are expected of students.

This is a part-time position working 28.8 hours per week. The actual salary is £22,161.60-£24,531.20 for unqualified and £25,881.60-£34,149.60 for qualified lecturers.
