  • About The Role and Person

  • Are you an ambitious apprenticeship leader with a passion for quality, compliance, and learner success? Do you have the vision to shape employer-led education and drive growth across technical and vocational training? If so, Capel Manor College invites you to take the lead as our new Head of Apprenticeships.

As Head of Apprenticeships, you will drive the operational leadership of our apprenticeship provision—delivering exceptional outcomes for learners, employers, and the communities we serve. You’ll lead a skilled and dedicated team, ensuring high-quality delivery, full compliance with funding rules, and continuous quality improvement across all areas of apprenticeship training.

You will be responsible for delivering an ambitious growth strategy that expands our apprenticeship offer, builds employer partnerships, and establishes Capel Manor College as a provider of choice for environmental, technical, and land-based apprenticeships.

The post holder will lead the compliance, quality assurance, and operational delivery of apprenticeship programmes. They will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure that apprentices benefit from an outstanding experience, and that employers receive responsive, high-impact solutions to their skills needs. The post holder will also play a key role in budget management, funding compliance, curriculum development, and performance monitoring.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading apprenticeship delivery within a further education or training setting. They will bring deep knowledge of the DfE funding landscape, experience in building and sustaining employer relationships, and a commitment to quality and learner achievement.
